💡 Use hay when you want to say that an animal or object is present somewhere.

💡 Use estar when talking about where a particular animal is located.

💡 Be careful with pollo and gallina. Gallina means an adult female chicken or hen, while pollo can refer to a young chicken and is also the usual word for chicken when talking about food.
